Let’s face it, an office full of messy cables just looks bad.  And once cables become entangled, they become difficult to work with and can create a safety hazzard.   The electrical and data communications framework also plays a key role in patient satisfaction and perception. IT equipment influences patient perception only when it becomes a detriment to the overall aesthetics.  It’s surprising that the planning for this infrastructure ends at the wall outlet.

The Challenge
Cable management isn't just practical, it can help the look and feel of your patient area.  Customer care starts the moment the patient walks into the lobby.   Our customer wanted an open, airy registration space that was inviting to patients.   This put IT equipment in the patient’s constant field of vision.  They could see the spider web of cables and all the dust it collected.  Staff had difficulty cleaning their desktops and maintaining an uncluttered aesthetic.

The Solution
Seamless helped enhance the patient experience and outcome by providing a more visually appealing admissions area and an organized workspace for staff.  With fewer visible wires and cables patients now see a streamlined work surface, staff can keep the area pristine and technology is seen as compatible with the interior landscape.
